Im starting to think the netflix series has brought more harm than good, it's creating unnecessary conflict within the playerbase. Dandelion and Geralt have always been straight, in the books and the games, it's simply wishful thinking.

I wouldn't necessarily go that far. People should however realise that the series is based on an amalgamation of the short stories and elements of the wider story arc rather than being based on the novels or the game stories.
