How do you equip a silver sword/second sword?

My slot is empty and there's like no way to drag and drop a weapon into the second slot or have a dedicated button to press in the menu to equip to that second slot.

I'm very confused by this menu system in general and what all this stuff means. It's very overwhelming.

steel swords go in the steel sword slot, silver swords go in the silver sword slot. It's not that hard to understand?

you buy them, or find them. Like steel swords. lol.

You're supposed to start with one steel sword and one silver sword.

I picked this game back up after being about 7 hours in and I don't remember what happened to it. I'm completely confused now.

nope, silver swords are supposed to be used for monsters. If you equipped an axe or mace, they won't really do anything because they're made of steel.

Your best bet is to buy a silver weapon from a blacksmith.

However you can of course use other weapons in your steel sword slot. Sometimes its fun to try those out, especially some of those dwarven axes... serious armor piercing ability.

But yes, pay attention to your inventory in this game and its a long game, don't be in a rush.

steel weapons (normal stuff like people use) is only for slot 1, which is for humans and animals. the silver sword slot (slot 2) can't have anything other than a silver sword in it, and its for monsters.
