Should i play the game or watch the TV show first?

I loved the Game first, 2 years later i see this series. I get hyped and play the game again :P

This game has a better story line than most tv shows out there. Especially getting the DLCs for this game for 4 more dollars gives you 50+ more hours of game play. Play the game and then watch the show because the game was just too good and you need something to fill the void.

The show happened almost 10-20 years before witcher 3 and not strongly associated with Witcher 3, you can try them at the same time, there are a lot of books and description of characters in the game providing you more information. But if you are really interested in the story and context of the world of Witcher, you may try the first two witcher games, they both provided good story but maybe a little inconvenience to play as old games.

The games and show (both the old and new show) are adaptations but the new show adapts from the novels contents as the game did also, not from the game to the new show.

im finding it rather good to watch the shows and play the game at the same time. new to Witcher anything. this has been a good way to absorb the world chaotically and just fit pieces together as they become apparent. The confusion is riveting

Probs watch the show first and then play the game so the experience only gets better. If you play the game then watch the show you might be a little disappointed

The show isn't bad though, actually pretty good and while it dies deviate a decent amount it isn;t anything to major

I thought the show was good but the game will confuse you why things are happening the way they are if you have prior context.

Just know:
Geralt is the Witcher. (Like a medievel batman) Ciri is wanted princess. Yennifer is a hot mage.

Why skipping it i say play the game first then watch the show it can't hurt even the show is not that good.

I only finally understood what was happening when i got to episode 7 now ima rewatch the show
since i know the timeline is bouncing all over the place

Most people played the game first which is way better then the Show even show is more about books they still did a poor job of it while the game is master piece.
