I recommend the books first but if your not really a reader then I dont think it really matters too much what order tbh because the show is more based of them. In my opinion the show doesnt do either the books or the game any justice. Maybe watch the show first and then the game because you will like the game so much more

I recommend skipping the tv show...and playing the game. And i mean skipping it forever :)

Skip show, was not worth it. Recommend playing the games, they are great!

The show is very good imo it is better than GOT series 1, you should at least watch an episode to see if you like it !

what? i like the show, either way is fine but starting at witcher 3 skips alot of stuff. i recommend watching a story recap of witcher 1 and 2 on youtube

Id watch the show before playing but thats just me it was also a great first season its just alot of people are getting turned off because they dont understand whats going on

I only finally understood what was happening when i got to episode 7 now ima rewatch the show
since i know the timeline is bouncing all over the place

Well, I am new to the Witcher series. So i choose to watch the show first, because i know how it always turns out different here and there from the original sources. So far i like it, also i just bought the game to play later.

You can enjoy either of them first. Though since the games take place later you may be spoiled a little in the show. Also ignore the haters, the show is very enjoyable.
