You meditate to replenish potions, but not sure if it'll let you meditate while in the middle of a quest like that. If you're totally overwhelmed (dying in one hit or something), try dialing down the difficulty in the game options, and also make sure you are casting Quen when you go into combat and when your quen shield runs out, re-cast it.
I'm at work and can't watch your video, sorry. :(
Many thanks. The sword problem is solved (there was something wrong with the controller, I have a new one now). Impossible to meditate at this point. I am not at all overwhelmed. I defeated the Golem without a scratch. So far the game has been too easy. A lower difficulty will be too much I'm afraid.
I did prepare. I had lots of food (all gone) and thunderbolt. What else should I have ?
Good deal, glad you got it solved. :) Remember the Quen sign is your friend. And I think during that quest you'll come across some food here and there in some of the containers, those may help you out.
