How can I get rid or sell quest items
I know there are mods that could help this problem but is there another way? Ingame-wise

Yeah, you could do this, but they also take up some weight. Weight usually not a problem for me since I will stop at merchants and blacksmiths etc and sell excess armor, weapons, pelts. But for someone who doesn't like to stop or likes to hoard, it may be a minor problem.

There is a mod over at Nexus that will allow you to sell quest items, but it may be a little buggy and you certainly wouldn't want to sell a quest item if you have yet to complete that quest.

Now why didn't I think of that. It's so simple...

Actually, is there any exploit/glitch that could stash the Q item's & change its Id so that you could sell to merchants?

wait what ? What quest items that you can not get rid of by completing a quest have heavy weight? Maximum is like 0.2kg

I know its a petty problem. I guess i'm just an ocd freak. If there's nothin, fine by me. I just wanna see if people were able to rearrange or do something with these already used Q items.

The mod you're talking about comes in two versions. The first version only allows you to store the items, while the second version allows you to buy and sell the items.

not sure I understand.. you CAN sell them.. after you have finished the quest of course.I never keep them. sold with no problem. just find the right buyer (maybe a blacksmith wont't buy them but a merchant will)

you cant sell all of them. If you have a quest that has multiple quest items to chose from for example and you dont take the wrong items first then those will forever stay in your inventory. Sometimes you have mutliple items to open a secret door or portal. If you use the right one immediately the wrong ones will stay in your inventory forever. Thats what he is talking about.

one example would be breaking into that druids laboratory. You cant sell the skull or the pine cone if you didnt use them on the statue.

You can sell them once you have completed the quest.
