Thanks! Read that and replied on there. If what they say is true, I am a bit confused. My main quests are still at level 6, but I am level 12 or 13. Not sure how that's possible with what they are indicating therein, since if the world was "waiting" for me, I shouldn't have been able to complete side quests at/around my level and get over-leveled for the concurrent main quests.
I'm on Blood and Broken Bones and did not like the upscaling. First time playing, as it took me this long to finish all the books and play both previous games (despite having them at their release).
To be fair, most games turn out like this for me with my OCD tendencies, over-leveled, but it seems a little exacerbated here!
As some others have said, I much prefer to just use enemy scaling, and they've fixed some of the janky parts of it with the update. Death March gets easy too quickly, and enemy scaling ensures every fight can be more of a challenge, requiring you to use oils, etc. Can also go back to any side mission without it being easy.
