Getting back the Kaer Morhen Armor in NG+

is there a way to do this? I haven't got it and I don't see a way to reacquire it

Yes, starting NG+ add a scaled version of the starting armor as well a clearing potion.

If you mean the stuff you start with if it's gone you likely sold it or junked it, gotta use the console to get it back.

I'm just asking about a way to acquire the item in game. if you'd like to be an ass you can leave though? If i wanted a Modified playthrough it wouldn't even be a question. There are plenty of better armors in the game, i'm only interested in it for the crafting. This save file is older than the stashes patch, so You said your share now buzz off, it's in your name so you should know how.

I did not start with a scaled version of the armor in the NG+ save, as far as I can tell, i have the clearance potion still. But i know i scrapped it in my initial playthrough. Should I have started with a scaled Kaern Mohren Armor in the NG+? Or would that only matter if i had maintained the old item (which i garuntee got broken down or sold for early gold) In either case this would be good to know for future games.

There is no way unless you put it into your stash during your normal run of the game. If you sold it or upgraded it, it's gone. I'm not being an ass. That's the way it is. I don't know what more to tell you. It isn't cheating to get back something you no longer have. You don't want to do it? Fine. What exactly would you like me to tell you? There's some magic words you can whisper to give the armor back to you? No, not unless you care to type them into the debug console.

You initial comment was not being an ass, Your follow ups were. You did not have to continue to participate, nor come back for your secondary comment. So please kindly bugger off. (And yes it is cheating if you exploit the dev console to put an item back into the game you no longer have if it was intended you would no longer have it.) The thread is hardly about "getting the armor back" It's about asking if there is a way to. I frankly don't give much of a damn outside of the ability to try dying it. And you already answered that admirably with your suggestion to use the dev console.

I see you missed the part where I mentioend the save file is older than the stash patch. In anycase bugger off less you continue to be an ass.

I'm fairly sure the game uses what you have on you when starting a NG+ and whatever is in your stash. If it's gone from your possession, then it's gone.

So that is the game does not re-issue the starting equipemnt in an upscaled fashion.

Maybe it was a bug? It's not like this game doesn't have more bugs than a cheap hotel.

That's what I was thinking because I thought it was supposed to generate an upscaled armor at the start :? but maybe I had it wrong?

Also great analogy. I mean it's hardly a loss, I'm just excited for the Legendary Griffin or Legendary Cat armors.
