Fun game, but hate Ciri.

Don't care for Ciri, stopped playing the game early because the entire game's story seems to be revolving around her.

All games with female protagonists are such crap.

Who thought it would be a good idea to take away from the main character to some overpowered anime girl in an RPG should be hanged for being an idiot.

Yet another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pointless post... 2. They did not take geralt from the main character' setting, lmao.. smh. ciri is literally the side-character to the game among the other tons and tons of others in the game, she is just focus of the story, she is geralt's child in a sense and of course he is going to save her! she is pretty important to the worlds balance.

The entire story revolves around Geralt and Cirilla. And how strong his bond to her is. The times you play her is very seldom and brief. This is one of the greatest game stories of all time and I've played many, many games And you're willing to throw away the experience because you have to play her a few times? And you saying "All games with female protagonists are such crap" Because I've seen many fantasic games with female Protagonists. ALOY for example from Horizon: Zero Dawn.

He must despise the Tomb Raider and Portal games as well. How narrow minded indeed.

It could also be he's one of those truly insecure guys who feels terrified at the prospect of playing as a girl in a game. Like somehow it will reflect on him personally in real life. Sad.

Ya, I can't see Ciri being loved unless you read her saga...ya, HER saga, as she is featured as much if not more then Geralt in the actual Witcher saga. She is seen as a brat in the second short story book, where you meet her.

but naw, she is an utter, tough, agressive and beaten bad ass. With a lot of combat experiance, and I would say a better fencer than Geralt, as she later could fight certain Knights and even mages that whooped Geralt with ease.

Maybe you should have done some more research on the game before buying into all the hype. And she's not really the protagonist of the game since you play so seldom as her because of her overpowered she is and those moments are only supposed to be like flashbacks so the player can see what she's been through.

The whole point is to bring home how strong the bond between Geralt and Ciri is and how important it is to their survival. Sorry you missed all that.

They screwed up by not allowing her to exist earlier in the games. Ciri, IS the Witcher story. The Witcher saga is about Cirilla. One book is almost exclusivly following Ciri (it was the most boring one, TBH.) So, Ya it's an issue with Narrative, but Ciri's existance has to be concluded, it's far beyond Geralts' importance, unfortunatly (I mean, the Author implies this.)

Tomb Raider yes, Portal no.

Portal doesn't focus on you as much as it does on the antaganost (the robot). And you don't even get to see yourself. Tomb Raider is complete trash.

I simply dislike any game where they try to show some badass sexy woman killing everything and everyone with her super physical ability and attractiveness.

Anytime there's a woman protagonist, the game suddenly hypersexualizes the character, and it literally turns into "look at that booty, look at those knockers" scenarios.

Suddenly the entire focus (or most obvious) is her body, because the creators know that's what 8-14 year old boys are looking for, (their primary demographic).

I don't need those camera angles of "her booty, her knockers" I have p0rnhub for that. Let me keep my focus and interest in the story please, stop trying to take it away with that BS. Kills RPGs for me.... actually not just RPGs.. pretty much any game.

Apart from the endgame, the Ciri bits are all flashbacks; someone telling Geralt how they met/what happened to Ciri. You could think (while playing Ciri in said flashback) that you are "imagining" the event as Geralt, through his eyes. He would not see Ciri in that way.

PS. Obviosbly you can mod that bath scene if you wish...

Your theory fails in one point. When Geralt is told about Ciri's tales he didn't saw her since Rivia's Pogrom(1268), so it's 4 years, he doesn't know how she looks like in the present of the game(1272).

Better lets see like it is, the scenes are a convenient interactive way to tell the player the story and CDPR just decided not to make the sauna scene with Ciri's breasts uncovered and that's it.
