Mod Manager or Vortex?
What would be the easiest to use? Im completely new to modding the Witcher 3 but I'm not planning on adding 100's of mods, as of now just texture and shader mod with gameplay changes and other visual upgrades.

Never use vortex for W3. "Mod manager" is the only viable manager for w3. Though i still recommend you install all your mods manually since it's very easy and simple for w3. Also get familiar with script merger.

I actually have used both of them, and for me they have both performed flawlessly, probably because they both use the Witcher 3 Script Merger tool to merge and organize all of the mods' files. I'm actually using the Vortex one right now, only because I happen to like the layout better than the Witcher one. Otherwise, I don't really have a preference. I have about 30 mods installed, all with the Vortex manager, working in conjunction with the Script Merger tool; the mods all installed easily and correctly, and my game runs great.
