Gwent Cards - Collect 'Em All Achievement
Hi there guys,

I'm writing this down in hopes that you can help figure out if I'm doing something wrong or if the quest itself is bugged.

I've been trying to collect all the Gwent Cards ever since I've started playing the game.

I have triple checked a couple websites with the gwent card lists and, for the achievement itself which, from what I've read, does not include the cards from the expansions, I have all of them.

I have all the units from all 4 deck types, all the heroes, and 3x of every weather card, decoy, scorch, commander's horn.

My Gwent Guide stills says I need 1 Card from White Orchard and 1 Card from Velen.

Now this is what I don't understand: I've picked up all the cards you can purchase from NPCs, and won all the card you can get from winning gwent (excluding Touassaint Cards, I'm not there yet). I've followed a few steps from videos and guides on YouTube such as picking up the card near the Hangman's Tree on a bag (I already had it) so I got a book instead.

Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

I've never heard of a bug, but it is always possible. However, most likely, you've missed a merchant or two in those places.

It happened to me, I was sure I had checked everything, everywhere...

I get what you mean mate, but my point is, I've checked on multiple websites and compared the cards available to mine, and I have all of them. So even if I missed a Merchant or Innkeeper, they wouldn't have a card for sale since I already have all of them.

Download a console mod and spawn the cards you miss.

Sorry, I thought your card achievement was the other one. In wiki it says

To complete it, you must collect every single card of each type; a total of 120 cards, from the 199 available cards. The other 79 cards are duplicates (for example, there are three Ghoul cards you can find, but you only need one for this quest objective).[1]

Northern Realms Gwent deck (40 cards)
Nilfgaardian Empire Gwent deck (41 cards)
Monsters Gwent deck (44 cards)
Scoia'tael Gwent deck (41 cards)
Gwent neutral cards (29 cards)
Gwent cards may be obtained by purchasing them from merchants, winning against others at gwent, and by winning against named NPCs in gwent side quests. After winning against a certain number of generic merchants, playing against merchants will no longer earn new cards. The book A Miraculous Guide to Gwent (added by patch 1.20) can be used to keep track of the number of cards still necessary to obtain, and of gwent side quests.

Missable Cards
Throughout the game, some cards are easily missed if a player chooses one action over another, chooses to skip a side quest, or just by not exploring. Here's a list of such cases:

Do the side quest A Matter of Life and Death: There'll be a small gwent tournament going on in the main courtyard where you'll need to win all the rounds to get all the cards.
Do A Deadly Plot: Turns out the one you're looking for is a big gwent player and has one of the best cards in the game.
Do A Dangerous Game and take the cards as your reward.
Participate in High Stakes: You must win the tournament to get every card (see main quest page for tips).
Do Shock Therapy to get the Iorveth card.
Free the Claywich merchant who is held captive southeast of the Boatmakers' Hut: Be careful as this merchant is bugged. Make a save just before opening his cage, then make a fast travel to Claywich. If the talking option doesn't show up, reload until it does, (Done with Patch 1.22) or just meditate until daylight (Done with Patch 1.31). Make sure to buy all the gwent cards he has for sale.
Play Lambert as soon as you can (either at The Nowhere Inn or at Kaer Morhen when the witchers are drinking)
See this list for a breakdown in missable characters/cards, making sure to play (or buy from) each one as soon as you can to avoid missing their card later. Patch 1.05 added in fail-safes if you missed a player's card.

Hi there mate, as I said, I already have all the cards from the base game, and even the hearts of stone expansion (just missing toussaint ones).

I've used some sites to compare and try to find the cards I need (which I don't cus I have all of them):

https://www.vg247.com/2019/10/14/the-witcher-3-how-to-get-every-gwent-card-collect-em-all/

http://gwent-cards.com/

http://gwentcards.com/checklist.html

Still nothing. I don't know what it could be.. I haven't missed any quest that wouldn't let me get the card afterwards. I have ALL the cards. Didn't miss any NPCs, done the tournament, everything.

No idea.

P.S. I've noticed I have 4 Poor F*cking Infantry Cards instead of the 3 I see on websites, could that be it?
Also, according to this website:

https://primagames.com/tips/where-find-every-gwent-card-witcher-3-wild-hunt

There are 2x Albrichs and I only have 1x. Did the game mess up the Cards available from Traders or is it supposed to be that way?

In the beginning of the game you can play gwent with Aldert Geert, the guy who teaches you the basics of the game. If you didn't played with him maybe that's why you don't have one in white orchard.

You can find his card near hanged man's tree if you don't have it already.

But other than that I have no idea, you probably missed one maybe in the tournement in Vegelbud Estate or Gwent: Old Pals quests, or some merchant.

The Card you get near the tree, if you miss the starting NPC showing you the game is the Zoltan Card and that one I already have.

And as I said, I've never missed any quest reward or any NPC I had to play gwent with because when comparing to websites and the cards available, I have all of them..

No idea... maybe this whole ♥♥♥♥ is bugged for me, lol. Thanks for the tips anyway fellas.
