I went for blade from the bits, personally. Sold the Tir Tochair blade a couple levels back but that's just me, I want to be able to rely on decent base damage. Also I think it looks fancy af
I noticed that when fighting against enemies that are 10 levels above me, bleed becomes very useful

I never really took bleeding into account, for some reason I just kinda ignored it. I just upgrade my weapons with Greater Zoria runestones, which gives me the occasional free hit and a chance to cast Quen. Different playing styles I guess
Guess I'll just save both swords and use Tir Tochair situationally against tanky enemies.

When i first saw the Tir Tochair blade i thought it was a bug or something because %35 bleeding chance seemed to be op. Really good against high level nasty enemies.

Doesn't really matter which one you get. It will fall off after you fight a few higher level bandits and pick up another novigrad longsword
