Console command to complete quest

Doing another run through this game. I am modding or skipping most of the grindy stuff so I can enjoy the story. For instance, the Scavenger quests to find Witcher gear schematics I am skipping by just adding them via console commands. The issue is the quests stay active.

Is there any way to clear these quests via console or mods?

Are you adding the finished items or the schematics for them? I can see how the quests would stay active if you added the gear itself, since the objectives are to loot the schematics. Try adding those through the console.

there is a console command that will help. Its the addfact command. But you will also need to know the quest id and the correct value that marks it complete.


I do not know them. You will have to search it up on google.


Guessing the command may look something like this. "addfact(questid_value that marks it complete)"

But you should also look up how to properly write the command on google aswell.

Im on my first play through and I’m stuck on “talk to avallach” it’s bugged and he only replies “yes” so I cannot go any further in the story. Is there a way I can use console commands to get past this stupid bug? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What's the commant to complete a quest? I got the same issue as kawthulhu, but with Nidas from the Black Pearl in Novigrad
