Perhaps also worth mentioning that the game sometimes launches but only in the background so I have to close it using Task Manager, and that sometimes it crashes / infinite loads on loading a saved game.
1. Increased Draw Distance
2. More Shadows
3. Realistic Contrast and Textures
Also make sure for COMPILATION, you have the STLM-compatible version, since that mod has a non-STLM version as well.
Sort of. It's very rare it looks as decent as those. Most of the time it's very bright. Maybe it's supposed to look like that, I don't know?
Can you post a screenshot from the bridge outside Tretogor Gate in Novigrad at 11:00 AM in clear weather?
Working on it. I wiped my saves recently so currently playing through White Orchard. :)
Thanks for your continued assistance.
Hey bud,
I did as you asked; please see screenshots below.

For some reason, it does look better than before and as I was expecting. Still doesn't look as good as some people's games I've noticed (who claim they don't see Reshade).
You can download it from here and see for yourself whether you prefer it over 3.1. Just remember to remove 3.1 first.

Gotcha. I'll have a looksie.
From the list above, do you see any reason why the game may not load fully (runs in background as a process, but doesn't load) and sometimes hangs when loading a save?
Thanks again for your help!
Furthermore, try having only one texture pack. For example go for either Realistic Contrast Textures OR the HD Reworked Project. not both. Though if you'd want my opinion, you'd want to go with neither and get this one instead (assuming your hardware can handle it):

Just make sure to remove RCT as well as HDRP.
Another mod which you should remove is Fast Travel from Anywhere because it can cause quest conflicts.
Thanks for suggestion, I'll bear it in mind. Game seems to be a lot more stable now.
Only thing I can't get working is having the "correct" weathers. From what I can see; COMPILATION, STLM and Custom Clouds and Weathers should all work together, however mine's utterly broken. Any suggestions?
What do you mean by "broken"? Do the mods not work as intended?
