Crach doesn't seem to be mourning them at all but I can't find anything to suggest they're savable. The fates of Hjalmar and Cerys in this scenario are really poorly dealt with, in my opinion. I'm so torn between keeping them alive or doing what's best for Skellige, they're family but I hate Nilfgaard.
When you arrive at Skellige during 3rd act you are told that Cerys and Hjalmar went to attack the Niilfgardian fleet and they never returned. So minimum MIA, most probably dead since they were going to do a war action.
