How the hell do you get mods to work with this game ?
Followed every single step as closely as i possibly could. Was hoping i could get the "Geralt Cloak" and "FCR3 Immersion and Gameplay Tweaks" mods to work but none of them are showing up in the game for me despite being installed in the /Mods folder i created. Are these mods simply out of date ? Looking for some help.

Ive just modded it, I used vortex and witcher script merger. The game is so annoying to mod so much mods conflict with each other so I had to get rid of some mods in favour for others.

Do you think Vortex is neccassary ? Also if you mind me asking which mods have you installed recently ? I don't have any installed at the moment. Just trying to get those 2 i mentioned to bloody work first.

Should be the “modXXX” folder inside the zip file put in the “Mod” folder in your Witcher install location. Modding is actually surprisingly simple compared to other games. So much so that I’ve been able to merge nearly all my mods. I have around 30-ish mods installed that have been merged together into only 5 folders for performance.

I use nexus mod manager, its a program that works for multiple games ( also witcher 3 script merger ofcourse)

I followed this guide,

https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2662

Game is running beautifully with close to 60 mods. Just make sure you follow every step and read everything carefully.

Yes using a mod mgr is always a good idea. Although mods can be installed manually, you are asking for trouble by not using a mod mgr. It also makes it much easier to install AND to uninstall mods.
Vortex is good or even MO2 but stay away from NMM as it's no longer supported and may cause problems with some mods.
