Best armor and weapons

Already got Grandmaster witcher sets but noticed there is gear with better stats only good thing about witcher gear are their set and piece bonuses but i wanted to know the gear with the highest stats.
Currently using: toussaint armor(4 set piece), steel sword Vitis, silver sword Aerondight, Toussaint crossbow.
Going to start a new game + after completing the activities there are to do in the world so wanted to roam freely with a good set for a while since ive heard even common gear in new game + is superior to the best gear on normal.

It is better because the gear is leveled. Bonuses are roughly the same plus maybe a 2 or 3 extra percent.

Witcher gear is the best.

At the same level, witcher gear is superior period. The ONLY exception is Aerondight because it levels up and, thanks to Hearts of Stone, you can take it to the Magewright and add three rune slots.

Set bonuses and better synergy with witcher talents, more secondary bonuses. And what armor with bigger numbers is because you likely found a weapon at a higher level then your witcher set.

Witcher gear also scale to your level?

each set has a fixed level, but the bonuses they give at their level outclass anything of equal level. So for example gryphon is the best level 11 set, etc. If you find a level 20 sword, sure it will be better then your level 11 gryphon set sword. But compare your gryphon sword to another level 11 sword and it will be better.

Best steel swords- Toussaint Steel Sword, Belhaven Blade, Hen Gaidth, maybe Iris.
Best silver sword- Aerondight, no question.
I don't think crossbows matter, you don't use them to kill anyways.

Best armor set overall is Legendary Manticore.
