rollling out of falls doesnt work in tw3 if you vaulted (and not jumped or walked). such as across balcony and other rails. super annoying indeed because even if you manage to roll you take fatal dmg when roll's over :/
Other times, the idiots who programmed this game didn't know what stop/start means. In one of the Witcher armor quests I tried jumping across a broken bridge that had a wall on the other side of it. I held onto the jump button for one second too long and geralt decided to climb the wall which has nothing behind it and fell to his death.
The game is riddled with bug and you have to play it their "special" way because the controls are abyssmal.
The tips also say to hold on the jump button to grab onto ledges but even that only works half the time depending on how early you let go of the jump button. I've had geralt hold on for .1 second and let go immediately and I fell to my death.
He actually is almost 100.
