I haven't read the books, but from what I understand, he really did have feelings for her as time went on, despite their fates being linked by the power of the Djinn. However, she doesn't display any measurable affection for Geralt (at least in the game) because she's always chasing power and status, and Geralt's trying to keep her from killing herself in those pursuits.
As for Triss taking advantage of Geralt's memory loss, I'm sure there's more to it than her wanting him to park his car in her garage. She appears to have actual feelings for him.
Also, it's been my experience that all females named "Jennifer" (and any variation) have the same personality: users and abusers of those who are devoted to them, much like Jenny from Forrest Gump.
I want facts come on, defeat you waifu
But she is also too 'normal'
A guy like Geralt would be incredibly bored with her after a few years, let alone after some decades
Triss is more of a friend (with benefit eventually....)
Yen, on the other side...
This is a woman matching Geralt
He would choose her over Triss anyday
He already did...
And they form a 'family'with Ciri too
i know that geralt would choose her but i fell she kind don`t love geralt, on the otherside triss really seen to have feelings for geralt and geralt for her
Yen is a way harder to manage and much higher maintenance girl, for sure
Less expressive too
But, in the end, far less boring...
He is a witcher after all, not some random guy
He is supposed to live quite some more decades
Yen is canon
You play as Geralt, not as yourself
But there is no right or wrong choice anyway
Choose one, next time you play, choose the other
Just dont choose both at the same time ;D
Pros: The only character that isn't actually over 100 years old. She is beautiful and hot as hell. She has a lovable personality. She is brave and have initiative. Very intellectual and is a sweetheart.
Con: She is always on the move. Not willing to take your hand in marriage, her parents will not accept you. If she becomes your waifu, she will grow old and die long before you do.
While thats true for most the game, she is still seeking that influence to help Ciri and not so much herself, and more importantly, by the end, and incase you never played it i'll tag it, Yen abandons all of it to go with Geralt to where wind might take them, while Triss abandons nothing and instead wants Geralt to go with her.
This is again reinforced in Corvo Bianco, where Yennefer shows up to move in with Geralt, and Triss is only stopping by to visit. So they're very different people, and one of them is clearly ready to let go of everything for the person they bonded with. Yennefer is very much a don't-judge-a-book-by-its-cover character.
Triss betraying Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri for the lodge during the books and even go as far as willing to let Geralt die to have better control of Ciri while having a begging Yennefer before her to die at least with dignity makes this for me a no brainer
Even though she redeemed herself a bit later on when trying to save Yennefer during the last pages of Lady of the lake
Game Witcher 3 well lets see.
In no particular order
Yennefer
Pros:
Pun games between Yennefer and Geralt
Loyal but not blind
Can hold her liquor
Mother figure towards Ciri
Retires from politics at the end of the game
Cons:
Jealous type and not always in the cute way
Sometimes to stubborn for her own good
Love for portals
Mindreading
Triss
Pros:
Loyal but not blind
Sister figure towards Ciri
Willing to risk her life for Novigrad mages
Willing to get tortured to find a lead towards Ciri
Bakes cakes for Geralt after his semi retirement
Cons:
Can't hold her liquor
Bit insecure at times
Bit naive
Does not retire from politics at the end of the game

She does it in TW2, and definitly did it in the first game too. Geralt supposedly likes when its Yen, altho game paints a different picture for some reason.
However Wichter 3 Geralt remarks about it during The last wish quest
Kinda surprised me to but hey its Geralt saying it so yeah I guess its a con now.
