Of course, and with a little research people would realize it was Base On The Books, and that Yen initially was a hunchback (story expanded by Netflix).
In the beginning of witcher 3 production Yennefer was uglier. CD PROJEKT changed her appearance so people would go diffrent path than Triss.
Just take a look at 2014 trailer 1:40 mark
I took it as he thought Yen was NOT originally a hunchback and Netflix made her so by choice, and that the characters were off a little or more because they didn't look like those in game.
That is all.
(edit) PS: And Ugly from the headline. Hence the look in the mirror bit.
Maaaaany hings are changed, simplified, cut out, I feel like each episode tries to push story ahead. I feel that creaters of the show felt in need of adding Ciri very early on just because she were in Witcher 3 game. In first two books she were "shown" 2 times. It were 3rd book "Blood of elves" where she were showing up much.
Overally however mine mother who didnt readed books likes it so I guess it is good.
Regarding the look of Yennefer the Netflix serie is not far off where it not they completely screwed up with Fringilla who is supposed to remind Geralt of Yenneffer regarding the looks. Even going so far as calling Fringilla Yennefer during sex.
Apart of that the entire part regarding the infertility due to becoming a mage makes no sense lorewise and the part where Yennefer hates the mages for taking her choice neither as she willingly did it even in the series.
