CRASH in Blood Wine DLC when i click quest travel to skelige, then the game gone from steam library

the game is still in my steamapps, the launcher only need to rediscover the game

but damn this is my first game breaking bug while playing this game, anyone experiencing the same ? i need some help if this is an old issues

my main quest is still in novigrad, i havent go to skeligge yet, then those 2 gold knight npc bring me to Blood and Wine DLC

alright i crash again after i load my latest save game, this is stressing me out

i also need to install the game again too

I've not seen this before but it is very early to go to start Blood and Wine. Try travelling back to Novigrad then try from there. You should complete the main quests before you return to Toussaint to contine with the Blood and Wine Expansion.

this crashing problem makes my gpu gone error ( the shutdown honestly worry me then boom its happened, my display gone gray, its normal now thanks to reinstall gpu) yea i've got no answer while searching in internet, i think its pretty new problem

the problem is i undergo crash too while loading my load files in novigrad (the crash that makes my gpu error)

thanks for the help guys, i think this is where i stop playing witcher 3, its scaring me out, aint gonna go for load in novigrad again, not gonna go for new game either (80+ hours in novigrad feels like hell to redo it again)

If you check the nvidia forum, one of the open issues with the latest drivers is "ramdom BSOD in witcher 3", seams to be a driver problem.

first. try verifying game cache and see if it fix. 2nd delete everything in documents/the witcher 3 except save files then disable steam cloud ( yes disable it, dont let it restore old config file back to your pc after you reinstall your game) and redownload your games. it will inform you about game has been reset to default when u open your game. Beside it. try driver 391.35. This is very stable driver without any issue in my experience. Hope it helps.

i done the verifying the game cache like 3 times, i didnt delete my save tho because i dont want to lose progress, but honestly i dont wanna try this anymore man, its scaring me, like srsly, thanks man

with poor driver other programs may crash as well. i'd reroll iiwy. find driver that works then disable nvidia autoupdates.
