Witcher 3 on MAC

I am using Code Weavers Crossover for Mac to play the Witcher 3. I have been using it for years to play Skyrim without any issues. But whenever I try to purchase the Witcher 3 it says - cannot contact server try again later. It keeps giving me this message yet I can successfully re-install Skyrim off the Steam server. Anyone else have these issues?

Just a tip if you have the patience to wait a couple of months :) : Get Nvidia Geforce Now, you can play the witcher 3 (i checked it) on it. I have been playing fallout 4 on my mac with no problems on a solid 60 fps on 1080p :P. It's free but there is just a big waiting list...

Why not attract more people to play good games instead of just looking down on them is beyond me. You're not understanding the problem it seems, Macs weren't intended to play games on whatsoever, and you asking for a solution to your issue is just mundane. Why do you think devs don't support the platform for mac on games such as this one and countless others on steam? I have nothing against you or anyone playing games on mac, just don't expect any real help when asking an impossible issue in which no one can really help you.

I get it. You can appreciate how frustrating it is to try and find games on a mac. However, I have a Mac for one reason and another. Good / bad - irrelevant. I have to work with what I have. Alas, I have to go out of my way to try and play games. Would a gaming platform be a better option - without a doubt, but I sadly don't ♥♥♥♥ gold bricks. But, Cyberpunk 2077 looks awefully tempting.

An $800 PC gaming rig equivalent in Mac form is at least $1200-1500. That's why people don't game on a Mac. Incompatibility and higher cost mean it just doesn't make sense.

Or, better yet, just build a PC. still cheaper and you would know the componets if you needed to change anything.

in some circles macs're necessity. anyway. it's pointless to discuss why op got mac. what matters's what it takes to run tw3 on macs if at all possible.
