Im not sure if the HdReworcedproject works or not because some things look like in the mod description and some things not.
C:\Users\xxx\Documents\The Witcher 3
example -
[E3DodgeSystem]
Enabled=1
Priority=1
inside that you will find your "gamesaves" folder and a couple of loose files called
"input.settings" and "user.settings"
im not quite sure if theres new ways of modding the game but i still use a "mods.settings" file to activate mods.
make a .txt file and paste into it all the data at the bottom of this post. make sure the names ive put in are the exact names of the folders of your mods.
save the file with the extension ".settings"
it will ask you if you are sure you want to change the extension. press yes.
now you should have 3 loose files in said directory.
input.settings
user.settings
mods.settings
set the game to launch in admin
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\x64
when the game starts, it should auto initiate the red engine script loader. if theres no errors then the game will run. if there are errors it will not launch and you get an error readout.
i usually bring up task manager and end the process of the w3 exe
many people use something called Script Merger to help merge mods.
i dont use it so unfortunately i cant help you there.
additionally, if you get errors, you could try changing the priority number. notice theyre all set to 1.
in your case, 1 being top priority, 7 being the lowest.
cut & paste all the data from below this line
---------------------------------------------------------
[modHDReworcedproject]
Enabled=1
Priority=1
[modViperHDChains]
Enabled=1
Priority=1
[modLevelingStartingarmorresistances]

[modE3DodgeSystem]

Priority=1
[modImprovedEyes]
Enabled=1
Priority=1
[modChainmailforViperArmor]

[modViperLegend]

seems correct. (i think)
modChainmailforViperArmor
not sure why you have this as a seperate mod. is it not the same thing as ViperHDChains?
in any case i could only find ViperHDChains which seems to be the correct name of the mod folder.
the leveling starting armor mod has multiple choices to choose from. i downloaded the one that looked the closest to what you typed.
this is the name of the mod folder that was in the zip.
modStartingArmor_Resistances
e3 dodge has 3 different ones to choose from. these are the correct mod folder names.
modE3DodgeSystemFinalE3Build
modE3DodgeSystemNoSwordPlay
modE3DodgeSystemOnly
the hd texture mod.
are you sure this is the correct name of the mod folder?
modHDReworcedproject
i didnt download it, but shouldnt it be "modHDReworkedproject" or is the name of the mod folder spelt with a "c" instead of a "k"?
the mod also seems to be more than just a copy and paste to the w3 mods folder. my guess is that it must have a bin folder inside the main mod folder?. the installer version need nmm? only the manual loose file version can be done manually.
ImprovedEyes
i could only find "real eyes" and "glowing eyes". i didnt download them but are you sure the mods folder name is "modImprovedEyes"?
modViperLegend
there are 8 different versions to choose from. i have no idea which version you have.
are you sure the name of the mod folder is correct.
all i can say is that i typed out that data according to the names of the mods you posted.
it seems at least a couple of them are wrong or youre using outdated files or i just downloaded and checked the wrong ones.
plus the hd texture mod dosent sound like youve installed it properly. if you have the manual loose files version then open the folder and see if theres a folder called "bin" if so you need to merge that bin folder into your bin folder of your main w3 directory. in the same place as your main mods folder. you should see it a few folders up on the list.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin
if you dont know how and where to put the bin folder files then merging the usual way is easiest but i would say to make a backup copy of your native bin folder first and keep it safe somewhere.
the hd texture mod folder may also contain a "dlc" folder which needs merging with the main w3 dlc folder.
if you dont know what youre doing then i guess its best to make a backup copy of your native dlc folder too.
(if the hd texture mod dosent contain a bin & dlc folder then you should be cool.
no need to do anything with the "content" folder. you just need to get the name correct)
then try redoing the mods.settings file again with the correct names of the mods.
if that still doesnt work then i dont know what else you could try.
bgray9054 does say that he/she uses a couple of those mods and they still work.
maybe try another simple mod of some sort to make sure youre doing things correctly.
edit -
no probs. youre welcome.
i hope it works out for you.
i dont use it so i cant help you there.
i would say to start with only 1 mod. you dont need to remove the rest from your folder if the mods.settings files is working.
open mods.settings and and whichever mod you want to turn off, change the "Enabled=1"
to "Enabled=0" that way you can test each mod one at a time.
start with the mod you most want to use. start the game, make sure the mod works then exit and add another mod. if they both work together then cool, add another mod.
keep going until you get the red engine error then take out or Enable0 the conflicting mod.
im guessing your mods are already uptodate so if you want to use all your mods without conflicts, you have to use script merger.
(make sure you test each mod by itself first. a single mod shouldnt error. if it does then the mod is either out of date or not installed properly)
