Other unique swords you can find/get (but aren't worth much):
-Iris from Hearts of stone (O.K ability, awful drawback), you get if you save Olgierd's soul
-Winter Blade, Gift from Crak An Craite (crappy all around)
-Ermentaler (Fire sword you get in a side quest)
During the Gwent tournament in Toussaint (Blood and Wine DLC) you can get a pretty awesome Steel sword called Blave, though depending on your level when you get it it might not be that useful. There is also a Tesham Mutna steel sword that you can find during the Tesham Mutna quest in Blood and Wine.
Also during the quest "Beyond Hill and Dale..." you are transported to a fantasy world that only exists during that quest. In that world you can find a steel sword called Vitis and a silver sword called Gesheft. These are easily missable.
For the most part I agree with dwarfpcfan that Aerondight is the only one of these that is arguably crucial to get because if you use it consistently it has a way of basically leveling up with you. Also you'll notice most of the truly unique weapons are found in the two DLCs and particularly the Blood and Wine DLC, both of which are basically meant for you to play after beating the main game. So if you're playing the main game I wouldn't worry too much about missing unique swords. For the most part the Witcher swords that you can craft are better than any other gear until you get into Blood and Wine.
There is a schematic for Blade of the Bits so it's hardly unique.
Blave, Vitis and Geshelt aren't too bad overall compared to the 100+ schematics of swords you find but their stats (and the level/place they are found) make them not worth it. By the time you get vitis and gesheft you've finished Blood and Wine meaning you're likely sporting Grandmaster witcher sets and Aerondight, all of which are better by miles.
And really aside from the witcher sets only 2 swords are equal them in power at similar levels:
-Toussaint Knight Steel sword (schematic)
-Aerondight
He can craft any sword schematic, even toussaint grand master sets. So he can, he just doesn't seem to be able to tell the blade from the bits is awful. But him being able to craft me a set of grandmaster manticore and griffin swords was all the proof I needed that he really is a master.
