As title says, I would like you guys to share your thoughts about the best looking armor / robe combos.
Mine would be Viper armor, Manticore gauntlets, trousers, and boots (all Manticore dyed black)
Yours?

I liked the robe you got in dead mans party with assasins boots and tracker gauntlets shame the robe was a master item and not a craftable relic as it looked good but was pretty useless as an armor piece.

Seems nice, also there is upgraded relic version of that robe in Iris manor if I am not mistaken.

Nothing beats the level 1 craftable leather armor but afterwards it cannot be upgraded :(

Anyone know if there's another armor with a similar/same look?

I played the majority of the game with the Cat gear. I love the stealth look (not the grandmastered version of the chest tho)

Check Viper armor :) It it the same armor but recolored in dark and has snake leather pattern on it. It's DLC Hearths of Stone exclusive.

If you don't have the DLC, try mods. There are plenty of mods making the starting armor upgraded to your level etc.

True. I love the mastercrafted feline armor, I had been using it for quite a time :)

I love bear armor, except the grandmaster one. Been using it through my 2 playthroughs

I believe there are mods that make it possible to upgrade it

Did you play NG+? If so, how was it? I plan to start it myself soon, so I’d like to know whether it’s worth it.

But muh immersion...

I'll wait until dlc to check out viper armor. I couldn't find anything in it before but I guess this is why.

I played ng+ on deathmarch with toxic build, and put runes to make all armor lightweight. It doesn't really matter which one I use at this point, it just looks so damn good

Haha I plan to do toxic / alchemy build in NG+ as well. My current build in normal NG is 30% combat and 70% sign.

Ya, the Kaer Morhen armor is the best looking in the game, IMO.

So a couple mods that you might enjoy -

https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/743
^ That mod adds "upgrades" for the Kaer Morhen armor into the game that will allow you to upgrade the Kaer Morhen armor a few additional times once you find the diagrams in the game - this will allow you to enjoy the armor a bit longer than usual.

https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2998
^ This one is a re-texture of the Kaer Morhen armor to make it look like the armor from the "Killing Monsters" trailer.
