any way to get the good ending of blood and wine with cheats?
Sorry I didn't read all the diary entries in the ♥♥♥♥ing playroom I guess, damn, so obvious that's how you get the good ending!

I don't have time to ♥♥♥♥ing waste doing EVERYTHING again for this stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. Holy ♥♥♥♥ing hell. What ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thought these strict, arbitrary ending requirements were a good idea? This is just scummy. It's absolutely sickening the game expects me to waste another 5 hours because I forgot to read some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DIARY ENTRIES?

yes I did get the ribbon. I didn't read all the diary entries in the playroom. So I'm expected to play the last 5 hours again I guess, which I'm just not going to do.

Well you might have thought it a good idea to save before doing any of the main story quest lines. That lesson should have been learned while playing the base game. What can I tell you?

You could always just be satisfied with the worst ending and get the achievement for getting thrown in prison?
You don't seem to know what I mean by best ending
I mean where anna and the other one both live, which requires some extremely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ arbitrary easy to miss ♥♥♥♥. I've saved yes but I missed something 5 hours back which I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get now or on any recent save. Saves don't help that much if it's 5 hours back.

There are three endings and I played them all so yes, I am well aware which is considered the best. Anna and Syann both alive is best. The others are Anna alive, Syanna dead and both Anna and Syanna dead.

But ask yourself, you had the journal in your hands and it didn't occur to you to read the darn thing? And it's only easy to miss if you're in the habit of not reading things that are part of quests. I can get not wanting to bother to read every single note, letter and book you come across in the game but one that's a direct part of a quest -- why not read it? It would have become clear then later on when those other dialogue options became available because, you know, you actually had that information you could use to try and convince Syanna to forgive her sister.

And, for the sake of argument, I wanted to get all three endings, mostly because I wanted to see them for myself, but also for the achievements. So yeah, I was more than willing to reload that earlier save. But what I did was to do all of the secondary quests first, to get them out of the way and just leave the main story quests for last since the actual length of the main story line was shorter than Hearts of Stone and all of the secondary quests were nothing more than filler content.

That would have saved you a lot of hours right there. Oh well, I guess you could always just stop playing for a few weeks or months and then go back to it again. Or not.

there's absolutely no hint I needed to read the other journal entries, and I already read them on a previous playthrough on console. It's stupid that I require something so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ arbitrary, so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ small from several hours ago to get the right ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending. It boggles the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind how they didn't put in any alternatives- do they expect people to go back just to fulfill some arbitrary ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ criteria for the good ending?

They could've made reading the other journal entries mandatory and saved a lot of people about 5-10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours, or just let us pick it up and read it then... This is beyond stupid

dawg chill, if you read it on console why not read them now? they are quite intresting. you should know by now that small things like that can come out to big things later on in witcher games, you cant blame devs or anyone but yourself. also save more :).
