Empty Inventory slot bug, was it ever resolved?
After some 300 hundred hours of play I am now experiencing the empty inventory bug. Everything is equipped but when you acess the inventory menu all item slots show empty. I see dozens of compaints about this issue goiung back to 2015. I could not find a solution that works nor did anyone update the threads as to what ever happened. Was this issue just ignored?

looks like, if its happening to you now, and as i'm sure you know your self it aint gonna get addressed by cdpr. so have you tried the usual reload save restart game etc?

I tried repairing the game files via the validation. Repaired one file but it did not help resolve the issue. I have no mods running at all. I have not uninstalled completely yet, but if the file validation did not work I doubt uninstall would help. Starting a new game or reloading to a save from days before is a work-around and not actually a fix. I was curious if anyone ever found a solution since the developers did not care to fix this. I guess I am stuck with this annoyance in this play through. Very disappointed that after three years this minor bug is still an issue.

Thanks though!

It's sound like overflow itemID stack in inventory that I experienced in my NG+ run. There is solution on CDPR forums that works pretty good. Devs will never fix this because of game engine limitations.

At least you can check this is your case or not.

Hey thanks WinterWolf!!! So not exactly the fix for me but that link got me reading and thinking. Specifically thinking about your comment, "overflow ItemID" and "game limitations." So I checked my inventory and it was crazy full. Like 480 Dwarven Spirit, 180 Water, 9 copies each of 30 different books, 75 drowners tongues, etc. You get the point. So I moved all of the excess items from my character inventory to my stash or sold it to bring the numbers to a reasonable level. Fixed it straight away!! Everything is working normal now that I have reduced my character inventory. Guess too many items on your person will create this bug. Thanks again.
