Mod to remove water enemies?
Is there something like this? On skellige and my GOD it's just the worst going out over the water to collect things as you don't have enough room to fight the sirens properly (and they destroy your boat meaning death) and the drowned dead you just can't just at all and just need to put up with being dragged under while getting the loot.

Seems like such a massive over-sight adding enemies int hese locations

No mod that I know of.

It's easy enough to kill the sirens. Just stay sat in your boat and use you crossbow. Do not stand up and try and use your sword. You can fire the crossbow while seated and even with the infinite bolts should kill a siren in 2 shots. You will take very little damage and you can kill a siren before it damages the boat as Geralt will shoot at those on the boat first.
So unless they all land on the boat at the same time both Geralt and the boat will stay damage free.

Its still really tedious though and I'd much rather not having any combat over or in the water if they aren't going to add mechanics for it.

Maybe this helps. You can kill them by just tapping your crossbow button. You don't have to aim. Just clicking the shoot button auto aims and shoots the nearest enemy. They die in 1 shot, or sometimes 2. Just keep tapping shoot button near sirens and drowners in water. Took me a while to realise that when I started playing.

Underwater you one shot them, above you have that horn that drops all of them from the air so... Also, skellige drops are mostly junk so unless you're horribly strapped for cash there's no need to get all of them

No mod to get rid of them but there is a mod that makes your boat indestructible so Siren attacks are less stressful.

If you enable the console, you can just go into the console and type killall and press enter and it will automatically kill all enemies in your vicinity.

But like others have said, it's not too tough to fight the sirens, just use the crossbow before you get in the water and it's like 1-2 shots per siren and they die.

Thanks for crossbow tip as till now I assumed you had to manually aim it, sadly drowned dead will still be a pain =(

Nah, same thing. Crossbow tap underwater for one shot kill.

=0 huzar!

and I just noticed drowner pheramones as well... I'm going to see if they work in keeping higher level versions off as well, if so all is forgiven.

Sadly no so they are still a pain in the ass

Suggestion - don't go after the Skellige water caches. They're all just Smuggler troves anyway - if you're looking for achievements, I'm pretty sure the only thing you need are the monster nests (all on land).

Try focusing on the scattered islands if you want to get those.

If you're dead-set on getting EVERYTHING, which I completely understand, just go crossbow-happy and pull up some good background listening on YouTube. Always helped me when grinding.

I'm not after achievements I just can't see something to collect nearby and NOT collect it, especially so when it comes to move onto a new area. I'll just use the killall command for the drowned dead, I have no qualm about mass slaughtering them with cheats as theres no other way to kill them in a normal amount of time
