2 Velen cards missing. (solved)

Sorry for adding to the probably thousands of threads like this, but I apparently have 2 cards missing from Velen, even though I've bought them all (from vendors that are listed to sell them on the wiki), got the Zoltan card, completed every single Gwent quest and gotten all 3 cards from a matter of life and death. Where are they?

Reason why I didn't mention him is because you say you are missing two cards. You'd notice if you were missing these five, which is why I suggested you try and figure out exactly which two cards you are missing by using a checklist.

That was the final cards I needed as well. I was missing two in Velen myself and this is where I found them. Strange it didn't say I was missing five.

Haha this is like the first thing that comes up when you google two cards missing in Velen and initially seems very unhelpful! As posted by previous players you must rescue the merchant on the large land locked island to the east of Claywich (which is south of Crows Perch). Then return to Claywich ( and maybe mediate some hours ) and buy all the merchants cards. See link at the bottom for clarification.

Oh and incidently this quote from another site solved the mystery of my two missing cards from Skellige; "The Innkeeper in Harviken is only there part of the time, so you have to go in the afternoon. I swear I checked before, so maybe there's two Innkeepers working in shifts."

I realized I was missing the last two cards - Puttkammer and Sweers. This was literally the only thing holding back from moving forward to Skellige. I even finished High Stakes(I had decided to hold off on it before I got all cards in the game).

Fast travel to a marker called bandit's camp. Fight the bandits and free the prisoner which is a merchant, then sleep for one day then go to to claywich a new merchant will appear buy the cards from him and play gwent that probably will solve your problem

Very late but thanks from me aswell.
I was missing 2 cards in velen. 4 of the 5 cards he sold me I didn't have yet so now I can finally move on haha

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to share my thanks. I was missing 2 cards in Velen (according to the Gwent book in my Quest items). After reading your comment I thought I'd check Lindenvale out before I would have to embark on a long winded crosscheck of the cards I owned with where to find each and every card. Turns out my last 2 were sold by the merchant (not the innkeeper) in Lindenvale. So, thanks very much!!

The merchant had 4 or 5 cards for sale, but the book said I only needed 2, but as with with all the merchants/innkeepers I bought every single card anyway.

Thank you! This is the guide i needed! The merchant in Claywich after saving him from bandits. He doesn't appear immediately on map or minimap. But i went there twice and there he was.
