Dudu and Menge questions (Spoilers)

Can anyone tell me how do I get Dudu to impersonate Menge during the Poet Under Pressure quest? It genreally leads to us ambushing the carriage and while it does make sense why the hell is Geralt complimenting Dudu afterwords about his Menge impersonation when he never did it?

I looked it up and all I can find was a moldy old reddit thread which didn't explain anything. Anyway I am going to try a different approach where I gut Minge and all of his men and thne recover this piece of paper that points to meeting with a spy. I was hoping I would at least get Dudu to do this metting but I am getting skeptical. Was this isntance removed from the game entirely?

You don't see rhe scene where Dudu impersonates Menge. If you ambush the carriage then he has already done the impersonation to arrange for Dandelion to be moved so that they could ambush the carriage. It was decided not to just have him release Dandelion as that was too suspicious and would result in Dudu being exposed as a Doppler.

This was all explained when they made the plan but you do not see Dudu do his part as you are doing what Geralt needs to do to get help from Dikstra.

So you never get to see Dudu actually trick the guards into transporting the carriage? Pity...

Yeah i did the whole ambush thing already, was dissatisfied not seenig Dudu work his magic. Like I said Geralts explanation does make sense but I figured there was an alternative choice where he gets Dudu to directly release Dandelion which would end badly...
