The Night of Long Fangs Regis Glitch

In The Night of Long Fangs quest Regis is meant too help you with the vampires that appear, however when I get too the 2 Bruxa while following the blood trail Regis stands thier and does nothing and the same applies with the previous Bruxa an the street. I mean give anough time and effort I think I could beat them solo but it is a difficult fight without help.

Any suggestions would be appriciated.

Just regular difficulty, the points where he helps are really random as well

Well, I did it with Regis at that point, and he too was twiddling his thumbs when I fought two at once. Just slap on some superior vampire oil on your silver sword, put yrden on the ground and you should be set. And moon dust bombs arent bad either.

Sorry yeah I meant Regis no idea where I got the other name from, and unfortunately I don't have any of the other upgrades for the vamp oil

Well you probably still have some vampire oil, if not superior. Yrden and moon dust bombs also help/

I'm a little surprised there isn't a mod that fixes Regis' inaction here
