Remember, that your gold cards are immune to weather effects.
Also, don't forget about card combos, those who become stronger when standing next to eachother.
Did it with a Northern Realms deck, with a Leader, that buffs artillery. It's not that hard after all, with a bit of positive rng.
Avoiding using melee cards yourself can also help so you don't suffer from the biting frost yourself.
General advice would be sometimes you can sucker them into passing if they are in the lead and you use a target dummy to pull your strongest non-spy off the field, or "waste" turns using clear weather or other actions that have no real effect. Then if they are close enough point wise, you can place down just enough to win. This only has a chance to work if they haven't lose a round yet though.
Other than that, just keep trying again.
I keep 3 in my deck, and no other weather cards - not even clear weather.
If you've done all the Gwent quests prior to Ermion, your Northern Realms deck should trash him by then. Really, by then, you should be extremely unlucky to lose to anyone.
That guy had a terrible deck.
See how useless his rain and fog cards were?
He had two cards there, that I would have dismissed, Ves and one other low value(5 I think)card.
I throw out all value 6 cards except Siege cards, becasue I keep the Leader that doubles siege cards.
I throw out all weather cards, other than Biting Frost, and keep all those in. I keep all decoys, and one Scorch, it is handy at times, but because I'm keeping high value cards, it's often difficult to use.
Spies and Medics are awesome. If you think you have decoy to spare, you can use a medic twice, so mabye you played 2 Crinfrid Reavers last turn, you know the opposition hasn't got a spy, so play Medic(not Yennefer, the other one), get your Reaver card back, then decoy Medic, and get the other back.
As I said above, chuckng out all cards of value 6 or less, except all cards that have buddy feature, or Siege cards(cos you leader can double them), then you should have no problems.
At the start, any 6 point Siege card, I'll swap, knowing I'll almost certainly get something better, becasue they are the worst cards in my deck.
