2. Now go to Whoreson's hideout, you'll arrive at the hideout and it will be already ransacked by the dwarf gang. Use witcher senses to search the hideout and find clues.
3. Go to the Casino next and talk to the dwarf gang before going in to have them help you kill the enemies inside. You'll find character in the Casino, if you tell him to run you'll get a side mission to collect some reward from the king of beggars. also you'll get an option to report what you've learned back to Dijkstra
4. Collect the reward from the king of beggars and report your findings to Dijkstra. after you report to Dijkstra you'll get another mission on Get junior to go meat Vernon Roche.
5. Go to Vernon Roche and talk and he'll tell you to meet him at the Oxenfort. after this go back to Novigrad and head to Whoreson's Arena.
6, Talk to the dwarf gang before entering the Arena by selecting gangs of novigrad quest.
7. After fighting everyone in the Arena don't forget to loot bodies and you'll find a key for a secret door in the Arena with some loot.
8. Go talk to the Dwarf gang leader after razing the Arena and his quest will be complete.
9. Meet Roche at the bridge and you'll meet someone who will tell you where Junior is hiding.
10. Go to where Junior is hiding and its your choice how you finish the quest.
Seems not very well thought out to begin with.
Lots of traps where it's easy to make this quest to fail.

Both paths are mutually exclusive to each other.
If you tried to use the more peaceful means, you cannot do Gang of Novigrad.
If you do Gang of Novigrad, everybody would attack you; so the conversations would be cut short.
The secret passage would be blocked if you did Gang of Novigrad; you would get in by killing the guards and looting the key.
If you talked to Dijkstra too early, some objectives of the quest would not be available as Dijkstra would told you to contact Vernon Roche.
Dijkstra advised against looking for the dwarf to forcefully break in.
If you took Dijkstra’s advice, you did not do the Gang of Novigrad.
On the other hand, if you looked for the dwarf, you basically resolved everything by brute force.
Here is what I did to get all green.
- Go to the bathhouse, talk to Sigi Reuven and kill all of the attackers. After the attack, talk to him about Junior, but don't ask him anything about Dandelion, or anything else. Only ask him about Whoreson Junior. Leave the bathhouse.
- Go to the arena, do NOT pick up Zdenek's letter, then go over to the two entrance guards, kill them, and make your way inside, kill the first, and second mob. Make your way to Igor's mob, and kill all of them. Take Igor's key and read his note. Do NOT look for the secret stash just yet.
- Go talk to Cleaver and accept his help. (As an additional note, once you enter the arena, if you leave men alive, go accept Cleavers help, go back to the arena, pick up the dwarfs waiting outside, then go back inside and kill everyone, you might get full rewards for Gangs of Novigrand. I only realised this after I had completed everything. At least one of the dwarfs have to survive, or Gangs of Novigrad will fail.)
- Go to the hideout, and search for clues. Once you're done here, head to the casino. At no point inside are you to ask about Whoreson Junior. This is very important.
- Talk to the two entrance guards, and either pay your way inside, or use Axii to get inside, but don't attack them. Don't talk to anyone inside, and make your way upstairs to play cards. Make a save point before playing the guy directly in front of you as you walk up the stairs. You can win a lot of gold from this guy. Play and reload until you win.
- Make your way over to the guy who sits against the back wall, he uses a monster deck and can be difficult to beat. He will question who you are and why you're there. Play him, but forfeit the first game, save, then play it him again. This time you will be able to win gold from him.
- Once you have beaten him, you'll be invited upstairs to play a private game. This is a sham and you will be attacked. Kill the men in the room, but do NOT talk to Rico, then make your way down to the floor below you. Draw all of the men up to this floor, and kill all of them except one. Once you are down to the last man, use Axii to stun him, or freeze him with a Northern Wind bomb. Run downstairs and outside, change the quest to Gangs of Novigrad and accept help from the dwarfs outside. Go back inside and 3\4 men have respawned on the ground floor. Just Igni them and the dwarfs will handle them. There will be another 2\3 men coming down the stairs from the upper floor, kill them. It's important at least one dwarf survive, or Gangs of Novigrad will fail.
- Make your way back upstairs to the top floor, two men will have spawned here, deal with them, then go back inside the room and talk to Rico. Once you have done this, quests will update. Rico will also open a quest for you called Honor among Thieves.
- Go back into the arena and find the secret stash.
- You can now go talk to Cleaver and complete Gangs of Novigrad. He will tell you as you didn't accept his minions help at the arena, you only get half the reward.
- You can also go to see the King of Beggers and complete Honor Among Thieves. You will get a sword and a swanky vest for this.
- Go back and talk to Sigi Reuven. Only talk to him about Whoreson Junior. He will direct you to go and see Vernon Roche.
- Make your way to see Vernon Roche. You can talk to him any way you like, and even play him for his gewnt card. He will tell you he is about to go and see his contact, and asks you to meet him at a bridge.
- Make your way to the bridge, and then go with Roche to meet his contact.
- Once you have spoken to his contact (speak with the contact any way you like) Roche will ask you for a favour, but ignore this for now.
- Go to Whoreson Junior's hideout, but do not talk to the entrance guards. Instead make your way round to the right of the main entrance, past the blacksmiths. You will come to a stone arch, and just past it is two wooden barrels, and a small canvas shelter. Hop onto the barrels, hop into the shelter, then hop over the wall behind it and into Whoreson's compound.
- Kill everyone inside, then go to the main entrance from the inside, it will be locked, but click on it, and it will go to the cut scene as if you approached it from the ouside. Kill the two guards and loot the key, but do NOT go back through the main gate. Go back round to the right and hop back over the wall using the barrels and canvas shelter. There will be a quest objective that says something like "use key to find a way into Whoreson's hideout." Don't worry about this, it will complete and turn green by the end.
- Go and find Whoreson, and do whatever you like with him. After you have decided his fate, go back to the main entrance, and leave. A cut scene will play out and you will be escorted to go to King Radovid. This is only a short interaction.
- Make your way to see Priscilla and you'll have a short conversation with her.
- The quest will end here, and you should have all green on Gangs of Novigrad, and all greens on Get Junior.
This way a total pain in the ass, but seeing all green more than makes up for the effort. My OCD can rest eternally.

I know this reply is a while after the original post but I hope someone who discovers the game later and who hates failed marks as much as I do finds this useful. I followed what Moving shadow posted almost exactly. I had already gone quite far into the quests and didn't want to go back to redo the conversation with Sigi Reuven unless absolutely necessary. I have managed to complete cleaver's quest and junior's quests without going back and not mentioning Dandelion. I don't know what difference it makes whether or not you mention Dandelion to Sigi Reuven. I do know you can complete all quests whether you have mentioned him or not.
I repeated what moving shadow said a number of times and tried changing the order but although I could complete junior's quest and cleaver's quest I kept having trouble with it showing part of the quest as failed. It was showing the error only after you found the secret stash. The Finding Junior quest would update and a new part would appear and it would be marked as failed and that said: Play cards with casino guests. I had played cards with the guests as described above. However there is a third casino card player not described above and I was getting the fail message because I had not played him as well as the other two but the error only showed after you had progressed further into the quests so people might not have noticed it appear at the bottom of the list when the list updated especially as it was not a listed task all through the quest.
The first player is right in frond of you near the top of the stairs when you enter the second level. The second player is further along the same row of tables. The third player is near the stairs on the other side of the room. With the third player you have to tell him you were knighted once in order for him to play with you because he does not play with plebeians. I know both the second and third will invite you for a rematch if you lose. It does not matter which one you lose to or if you lose to them all if you are not interested in gwent. They don't seem to give you a unique card if you win. however you can get some nice money if you bet 500 and win. You can only win twice before it automatically turns into a fight. I have not tried losing to the first guy and only winning against the second two to get more money. However unless you have played all three you will still fail part of the quest so you have to lose against at least one in order to be able to play all three. Only once you have played all three casino players can you complete both quests without any fail marks .
