Riddle me this: (spoiler)
I just did the "dragon" contract on Skellige. Why is there a massive freaking siege tower out there in the middle of nowhere?? No castles or forts nearby, and if there used to be then the siege tower, being made out of wood, would have rotted away before the defenses it was built to assault.

Okay I don't remember exactly but it could be an oversight. The devs removed some designs and quests but left a few crumbs behind. So maybe this is one of them? Taking a wild guess here.

I suppose it's possible there could've been a castle nearby that got removed. Or maybe the dev who placed the siege tower thought there was going to be one, so a case of the left hand being ignorant of the right hand's movement.

Yeah but I say don't be surprised if you find any more nuggets that shouldn't be where they are.

Maybe they didnt want to build a shed for their siege tower, decided to leave it there because it obviously isnt going to get used.

what's really sad you cant climb on top of it and there's nothing hidden up where you can still climb to :/ for example elex did this so much better.

Pfft, be happy Geralt can even jump.

In W2 his biggest enemy was 1 feet elevations.
