Can't craft Superior Wolven Chest Armor

Before anyone says it, I'm aware you need a Mastercrafter to craft this gear. I'm level 52 and have already finished the game and DLCs. I wanted to go back and collect all the diagrams to craft and display the armor sets in my home.

I've completed all Scavenger quests for each set. But the Wolven Chest piece does not appear in my list of gear I can make. I've noticed other people having this same issue but I've yet to read any solution.

Does anyone have a fix for this or am I doomed to never upgrade my Wolven armor?

You can loot one in Kaer Morhen, inside a mine behind a forge as I recall it.

Thanks for the reply. I do recall triggering that quest when doing the Wolf Scavenger Hunt, but I ignored it thinking it wasn't relevant to the Wolf gear. I opened up my Quests tab and the quest itself isn't even listed.

Don't know if it's glitched or I've missed something. But oh well, I'll just craft a different set I guess.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I've noticed just now that you don't even need to craft the lesser quality Wolven gear to craft the Grandmaster set. I didn't even realise, I just assumed you needed the Mastercrafted gear before upgrading it to Grandmaster like the other Witcher sets. Why have CDPR duped me like this, lol.

I opened up my Quests tab and the quest itself isn't even listed.

You need to pick up a book located in a dresser at Kaer Morhen. The dresser is at the bottom of the tower you first ascend to meet a very angry Yennefer fairly late on in the story. ;p There are more quests to pick up and a handful others to discover randomly in Kaer Morhen, but that's another tale for another time. Glad you got your gear sorted anyway.

Yeah, I've got no doubt in my mind that there was tons of things I missed in my play through. I plan to play it again at some point, just not sure if I should do NG+ or go for a fresh save.
