[Witcher 3: Enhanced Edition] is there any storage?

Hi guys,

EDIT: IF YOU GOT HERE GOOGELING, THERE IS NO GLOBAL STORAGE IN W3EE

Started with my first playthrough of W3 and decided to go with the Enhanced Edition. Anyways, I tried to find some information about this on the internet, but was not able to.

After 20h+ played I find myself in deep need for a storage chest, as I know them from W2. But they seem to be missing, although the icon on the minimap is clearly there.

Does anyone know if the creators of the Enhanced Edition removed the storace chests at the inns etc.?

-- In White Orchard, in the inn near Elsa, the innkeeper.
-- In Velen, in Ciri's room at Crow's Perch.
-- In Novigrad, at the Rosemary and Thyme, Dandelion's establishment.
-- in Skellige, in Yennefer's room at the New Port Inn near Kaer Trolde.
-- in Kaer Morhen, in the main hall.

And the Blood and Wine expansion added the following:

-- In Toussaint, in Corvo Bianco's vineyard, inside the main house, upstairs in the master bedroom.

Do you need to finish any quest for them to appear?
As I said, I am playing for something around 30h now and I have been to 3 locations that show such "stash" icon on the minimap but they are just not there, so I am not sure if it is a bug.

Have you played the mod yourself and can confirm they are there?

That you can see the icon on the minimap would imply they are present in the game. Why you are unable to see them is beyond me. All I can suggest is that you look at a video to see what the chest looks like in the game. Perhaps you are not trying to open the correct one. At least I hope the solution is that simple. Otherwise, I don't know what to suggest beyond removing the mod and seeing if the stash is accessible then, in the vanilla game.

I think that I would not have been playing the Enhanced Edition for 30h for my first playthrough if I wasn't able to tell the right chests :D Would like to see anyone at that level installing a mod that makes combat, alchemy and the game overall just harder playing EE for his/hers first blind playthrough.

The stashes just don't spawn, and because I didn't find anything to this on the Internet I thought I might start a new thread

Yes, Yennefer's Room in Kaer Trolde, same goes for Ciri's room, the thingy in Novigrad, The first Inn... Chest Icon appears in all, but no stash there.

Nope, as veryfying the integrity would reinstall some of the overcopied files.

I just think I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the installation somehow and cleaned everything now and am downloading it again...

I hope that will fix it. Will post here if you are interested. Also sorry for the late response but I got lost in the game :D

I´ve got the same issue with the W3EE mod. To all the people commenting that they don´t have this issue, are you using the Enhanced Edition mod? Does the mod maybe remove the storage?

Hey sorry for the late reply. So I talked to the dev back then, btw I will link you the discord in a dm if you accept my request :D, and for immersion purposes, that chest has been removed. Which makes the game better IMO once I thought about it.
Anyhow, I think you are running an older version because I installed it yesterday and that bug isn't there anymore.

I am puzzled now. Are all chests "removed for immersion reasons" or is it a bug, that I cannot see any Storage chests in the W3EE-Mod? I don't get it. Especially when you consider, that this storage-chest-thing is not mentioned in the mods description.

Hey the global storage has been removed, which makes sense as the witchers only storage is kaer morhen and roach if you think about it. Also good luck with the mod, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
