Can’t use crossbow?

I killed the Griffin already but can’t use the crossbow. I hold tab than put my mouse over the crossbow and hit e but my crossbow doesn’t come out. How do I use it?

Zamp, it may be intuitive to some older PC players, but I find ANY new games I get, receive a good looking thru the keybinds.

Sometimes it's almost ike cheating since this can expose game mechanics that haven't been introduced, yet have a function dedicated to it.

All in all, it's your game - own it every way possible.

I looked at it and I couldn’t find a fire/equip crossbow button. Thats why I asked here.

It's the same mechanic for eveyrthing else that is slotted in the pocket slot. The tutorial at Kaer Morhen covered this when it showed you how to use bombs. You toss them with the middle mouse button after it has been selected by pressing the Tab kiey and making active, or clicking on, the bomb of your choice.

Same with the crossbow. Tap the middle mouse button to autofire it. Hold it down to aim. Same as with the bombs.

That goes for the torch as well. Once placed in the pocket slot and selected, pressing the middle mouse button will toggle it on and doing that again will toggle it off.

I dont remember the tutorial and forgot a lot of the controls because i had the tutorial a year ago and last played like 4 months ago.
