But anyway from my pov it always come a point where a sword with just 3 rune slots and more raw damage gives better result than keeping the best burning sword to the end of the days.
Leveled items system work this way. Benefits from items gaining level can overshadow your preferred bonus.
I too like to see foes burn - who wouldn't? I think bleeding does much more damage than any outher rune - by a long way.
Had Greater Bleeding, Burning and Poison in a sword for ages now(nearly Lvl 40, been there since lvl 34), and still not got the achievement for inflicting those 3 on 10 people yet. They never seem to get poisoned.
Sorry I can't recommend a sword, but you could put 3 in a Witcher sword.
Cool.
Worth checking out Enhanced Cat when you are Level 24. It has attack bonus's, and has Bleeding inherent to the sword. I think most would say it's the best armour, because most rely on swords for damage.
- Attacking a target after it starts burning puts out the fire. They will stop taking damage and go out when you hit them again. This makes burn chance on a sword basically worthless.
- It activated far less often than 15% (1 in 8) on mobs of Gray and Green color at around level 40 (I'm 47)
