Are there any gay players out there?

Gay players or characters, you got me confused.
As for characters; Mislav, that very obvious elf tailor, and questionably dandelion (he may not be gay but it is said that he experimented with the tailor.)

It is not said he did any such thing. In fact, Elihal makes it very clear all they did was talk.

IIRC the only explicitly gay character is the hunter in the woods who helps Geralt track the wolves.

Yes, that was Mislav, the hunter in White Orchard, as was already mentioned by Doofus in the second post.

But its obvious there are more as brothels do have male prostitutes in them

There are lots of gay characters in the Witcher universe. Ciri is a lesbian in the books. In the game her sexuality is your choice. Triss is confirmed to be bisexual in the third book. Philippa Eilhart is also bisexual. She’s got female love interests in the Witcher 2 and had a relationship with Dijkstra. Saskia may also be a lesbian or bisexual though she was under the spell in the Witcher 2. There’s also Mislav who has been mentioned already. Besides, in the books and the first game Geralt had group sex with several characters, some of which were male (Saskia’s father, for instance). So, the Witcher universe is quite gay-friendly.
