Best GWENT Decks/Strategys?
I love GWENT and for the amount of time i've been playing Witcher 3, A good 8 hours have been given to nothing but GWENT with random merchants (Not even the main gwent quests).

I've been trying to beat people with a Northern Realm Siege/Combination deck.

I also have been trying to create new decks but I don't know what to aim for and I've been fighting non-stop for rare cards.

Any recommendations?

Spy cards are god-tier. You always want them, you always want all of them in your deck. Northern Realms and Nilfgaard are the most popular precisely because they have the most spy cards.

Weather cards are trash (imo). Don't get them. They take up space for actual good cards. Decoys are useful for stalling, getting two revives from one card, or taking yet another spy card.

Medic cards are also, obviously, useful for reviving spy cards that were played against you.

What I do is play all the spy cards I get, hopefully steal some back with decoy, pass the round, and revive them next round. Whoever gets the numbers advantage in Gwent is often the winner.

Most of the best cards are linked to quests so avoiding those will ensure that you never get them. There is a pool from which random cards are rewarded in matches with NPCs and those are not the rare cards. In fact some are only obtainable by completing quests, as rewards. So you might want to rethink this strategy.

Somehow, I skipped over that. Yeah, the real good stuff is in the Gwent main quests. You may occasionally get something actually worth a damn from a random merchant, but the chance of that is extremely rare, and they'll never give out any of the really good stuff.
