There is a witcher contract as well that is pretty funny i won't spoil anything, but i also don't remember the name of the contract unfortunatly.
the lighthouse one has interesting consequences and gives you a new sidequest later one (unless you have already completed the king making quest)
There is a alchemist that you will meet in the island, you can ask him to teach his skills to you, his mission is pretty funny as well.
I agree, by the point i reach skellige i was getting less interested in exploring all the locations, mostly because the sailling was just not appealing aspect of the game for me, but the sidequests and contracts in skellige are all pretty good in my opinion, yes they are more of the same, but i enjoyed those little short stories they provided.
