Stuck on "in time and space" NEED HELP PLEASE.

I've started the above section, got through the sand crab world and now I'm in a world full of poison gas. I have to get to another portal that I can see on a far off hill, but gas is everywhere and I keep dying. I've climbed various rocks and platforms and gotten a little closer to the portal but now all I see in all directions is gas. No matter how fast I run I can't get to a safe place in time. I either die from gas or from falling off ledges.
Can anyone help with directions, not easy when I can't explain exactly where I am. Am I doing this wrong. Is there another way to finish the level. This is one of those times where the game is finished for me if I can't complete this part and I'm desparate to continue. Its too good a game to stop now. First time I've had to ask for help with Witcher 3

This is a tough one. I died at least a dozen times till I figured out the shortest route. The video pretty much explains it. Good luck!
