oh yeah. they have a mod manager as wells that helps with installiations. use it for skyrim, fall out , dragon age . they have alot of games. good community. been using it for years.
like i said you will still need to use the sign post that you have discovered as your target location. you just dont have to ride to a sign post to use fast travel. you can be in middle of a large forest and be 1000 meters away from a sign post and can fast travel to a sign post.
Did you follow the install instructions from the mod to the letter? I.e.,
"Install Manually: extract modFastTravelAnywhere to your The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\Mods folder (create it if you do not have it)."
It should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
double click the "mods" folder (or create it)
then paste the folder "modFastTravelFromAnywhere" in its entirety there.
If that still doesn't work... oof, you may need to restart.
Just tried as you suggested and it did not work. Welp! Lesson learned. It's always good to save in case you run into problems later on.
your final file structure should look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\mods\modFastTravelFromAnywhere
it needs to be exact, sadly. this is just how files in Windows work :-/
Remember that if games have multiple save spots available, it is imperative to alternate between at least 3.
While the mod is useful, I don't think I will be using it anymore because I do like exploring and I've found many items / monsters that way. :-)
I'm so happy now that I can continue from where I left off you guys have no idea. Honestly, kudos to the dev who created that mod.
