do you get the GOTY edition for free if you buy TW3?
I have TW3 on GOG, I wanted to buy the GOTY EDITION on Steam but then realize that GOG game me a copy of GOTY edition FOR FREE (Gotta LOVE this company...). It just appeared in my library...

So now I'm not so sure. But if I can get 2 copies of the game on STeam as well I would make the switch.

Most likely you are missing other stuff in your moving. Just do a normal install, and it should work.
will normal install is usually just composed of moving the mod to the mod folder lol....so I can't make the process more complicated even if I wanted to :p
I did follow the original instruction of the mods to reinstall them for GOTY.

I get a weird c++ code error which I never saw before, hence why I thought it was some changes caused by the game rather than mods

I did follow the original instruction of the mods. For reference, the ones that I'm certain are causing the problems are "friendly hud" and/or "random encounters".

yeah, I use both of them with no problems. But you have to go through the complicated process in their installation instructions to get them to work together properly, also Random Encounters has different stuff installed in different folders, so I would say that you most likely missed something there as well.

ok thanks. I will try it again. But if it's too troublesome I guess I will just stay with vanilla lol since they are identical...
