I actually waited until it was on sale. To be honest, I am happy I didn't paid the whole price because im a bit low on money as a student. But if I had the money, I'd also pay the full price. The game is gorgeous, amazing and has a great story lined up in cool and original quests and decisions you can make that affect the game and the story itself.

It deserves evert cent, this is one of the few games in this industry that actually deserves the money you pay for it, but i would wait because CD PROJEKT RED makes sales pretty often, and halloween sale is coming, so if you wanna save some money you should wait :steamhappy:

Well I think you should always try to buy games on sale, because, why not? However, I can pretty much guarantee you that this game is worth $60. I recently played through it myself, and it's one of my favorite pieces of media, I've ever consumed. One Hundred or more of hours of game-play, story and dialogue, amazing soundtrack. Interesting, compelling, characters that I grew attached to.

Yeah, definitely worth it, if you have the money and want it "now" I fully support you.

Personally I think it's worth $60, but I got it on sale for $30. You won't feel cheated if you buy it at $60 if that's what you're asking.

I got the expansion packs just so I could throw more money at it but they ended up making the game even better. Ide pay like 100$ for the base game thats how much I love it. its basically what people say skyrims like....

The game is easily worth the full price. It deserves it. However it also goes on sale at 40% and 50% pretty often so if you're looking to save some money it might be better to wait nonetheless.

I'm going to buy the base game and wait for the dlc to go on sale, thank you everyone for your input.

you're better off buying goty triple pack on sale. when i bought game b&w was not yet out so only got base game on sale. afterwards there's been simply no good discount on expansions only 10-20%. i'm still debating with myself whether b&w's worth it.

I would have advised watching for a sale; but IF you have the money: it's still worth it.
I would have also advised buying the GoTY edition IF you have the money.
The DLC's are as high a value individually as the base game. - Especially Blood and Wine

One of the few games everyone should play.
But if you can afford it today, you could have a nice life without it.
It is worth paying full price, but it goes on sale for 50% off so frequently that it's up to you whether you want to basically make a donation.

I'd wait for a sale, because why not? Black Friday is in less than 2 months. But either way it's well worth it. It's one of the best games I've played and I've spent more than 300 hours on it. Just be sure to buy the GOTY edition. You'll pay about 25% more for about 50% more content and same quality as the base game.
