But really, one of the few with an air of integrity about them.
Not to forget Geralt always comes first when it's about character.
That guy is almost alive...
I love that scene. It's straight out of a Terry Pratchett book. I mean not literally, but you know.
He was sort of best frenemies with Geralt. I loved how they had this constant back-and-forth with each other, but they knew how much they needed each other so they never blew the other off - Dijkstra's resources and connections, Geralt's abilities, they knew they worked well with each other, even if they hated one another. Behind the whole jerk personality, he's actually relatively smart, and even a bit of a romantic, pushing Geralt to stay with Triss (and getting peeved if he doesn't).
Though he loses it when he actually comes between Geralt and Roche+Thaler. I mean really, he'd been smart enough never to cross blades with Geralt, then expects Geralt to do nothing while he betrays his working buddies. I swear, he seemed like such an intelligent character until that one moment.
Dijkstra is one of my favorites. I like him. I actually think his ending is the best for the North if you don't pick Empress Ciri.
But I can't let him murder Roche and company. I could part with Ves. But I can't let him kill Thaler AND Roche.
and every troll in the game
Shanni is a good girl, i like her. Sometimes I like to stare at the owl which Philippa transformed for a while. maybe i just like owl..
Roche and Thaler want a sovereign Temeria. If they need to make concessions to the empire, that still beats being outright annexed.
