Is the expansion pass worth it?

My oblivious friend accidentally bought the regular edition for me and now I dont have the 2 DLCs, is it worth it though half price at $12.49?

Absolutely. If you enjoy the main game you'll enjoy the expansions and for half the regular price, definitely.

If you enjoyed the main game then 100% yes, both DLC packs are prime examples of DLC done right. There's a great main story arc questline in both DLCs and also a lot of extra content and side-quests, witcher contracts, treasure hunts and even a new faction deck for gwent!

I'd gladly pay full price (or even more than the full asking price) for the amount of content contained in the DLC for this game, so picking them up at half-price is a bargain!

Both DLCs are so complex and big, they can by their own games. ;-) So that's yes!

100 hours later, I'm only just skimming the surface of the DLC content, and it's as captivating as the main story was.

If you're not the type of person who spends 40+ hours on a game, maybe it wouldn't be worth it if only because you might not make it to that point. However, from what I'm seeing, the sheer amount of content and quality of the Witcher DLC rivals that of Borderlands 2, which was some of the best instances of DLC I'd ever seen.

I did the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing and now Ive already invested 20 hours into the regular version and its too late to refund and buy GOTY.. Ima just wait for good sale
