I know it sounds intressting to experience these and that in a different way. I often wondered about a command & Conquer role playing game... like playing a commander in first or third person and doing quests when not in strategy mode, like driving a mammoth tank simulation like... or staying at home like a good old Sim but hey... we cannot get every desire satisfied. Perhaps in heaven or hell of you are good/bad boy :P
it takes an immense amount of coding to create and maintain a 'shared' worldspace and afaik it must be done in the base game, not sure adding this after the fact is even possible or ALL SP games would have mods like this
Playing with friends is something I enjoy as well. The argument that it takes away from the story is simply not true. It just requires more effort to add to the game, based on how the engine / game code is set up. That's it.
Proceed to start insulting me now that your entire argument has been disarmed.
Mods are limited unless you reverse engineer the game. Scriptting language doesn't grant full accces to what the game does. If the game engine doesn't implement network interaction required for multiplayer then is simply not possible to do it through modding.
Also you cannot give characterization and character creation at the same time. Or one or another and CDPR made this choice regarding the franchise.
It's a fun idea that would probably be fun in practice.
@BuzzardBee
You're disgusting.
Then you should contact CDPR and suggest them to make that game, that it could be nice. As far as TW3 is concerned cannot be done, not even modding.
Yo
Didn't someone manage to make a multiplayer mod for Skyrim? I do think that it's entirely possible for someone to do something similar with this game, but it wouldn't probably be anytime soon (at least, I haven't heard anything about. anything)
and I may be a loner but I wouldn't mind exploring the world with a friend by my side. Twice the fun, yes? :D
