Brothers in Arms quest - VELEN failed instantly cause i killed kiera long ago?

is there anyway i can make it not fail now any mod or something? i don't wanna play from the start, heard that if i did the Letho quests:
Ghosts of the Past
The Fall of the House of Reardon

brothers in arms velen wont fail even if i killed kiera?

should Letho and keira both be alive or just one of them is enough to not fail?

Mmm didnt realize this until now, even the future of Lambert...i always manage to keep Kiera alive (and trigger Letho to join the battle).
I guess if one of them is alive and you see in Kaer Morhen, you will succeed at this optional objective, anyways you will receive less help with the battle and that makes no big difference (although, if keira is not there, check for lambert after the battle ends).

But as far as the quest is concerned, if Keira is dead, the quest will fail, probably because Letho is an optional ally (as in only present in your game if your W2 import had him alive or if you chose to simulate a W2 save). Keira is however. I suppose there is a console command that would fake the game into thinking she is still alive however you'd need to know the quest ID code which I do not, sorry.

Why did you kill her, by the way? Just curious. She has three possible outcomes, two of which are rather unfortunate but the third is having her as an ally at Kaer Morhen.

i killed her cause i thought there were only 2 outcomes kill her or send her to radavid with notes, so i need to make that quest not fail somehow i just cant stand when quests are failed dont care about achivements though.

Yeah, her outcome is pretty bad if she goes to Radovid too. He impales her on a pike in the middle of Hierarch Square. If this is your first run at the game and you plan on playing it a second time, maybe it would be best to just live with the failed quest and remember not to kill her the next time.

There are three different endings to the game and most like to play it at least that many times to see all three for themselves.

this is my first playthrough, i probably wont play 2nd though, i'm trying for that modding quest id to make it not fail but its kinda hard to find the exact quest id of that quest.
