You must have mods changing all that stuff, adding the blood too.
I seem to have a similar issue and am certain that it's related to a mod, but I don't want to toggle all my 54 mods one by one...
Hell the only mod i ever downloaded for anygame that i downloaded because i felt the game was lacking it. Was a hood and cloak mod for the witcher 3. And i felt the game was lacking the hood and cloak because it was shown in the monster trailor geralt wearing a hood and cloak but yet you cant in the game. Theres the only mod i ever downloaded for the reason of i felt the game was lacking .
Literally all others were huh this mod seems interesting im going to try it out. So on and so forth. The only mods i ever delete are ones that cause conflicts and ones i end up not liking. If i liked it it remained.
Yes indeed it did feel like a different game. Whoever said thats a bad thing?
Whoever does say its a bad thing has what is known as a personal problem.
Whoever said i didnt play other games? I play all my games. The onesi end up liking that is.
If i own a game i play it. I dont just play it once or twice then never touch it again.
As for the computer setting on fire. It was a really old computer. My secondary computer at that. I put skyrim on it and dedicated it solely to skyrim for mods. And removed all the other games i had on it and moved them to the new computer. The one im using now.
When it caught on fire. I put it out. And was playing on my main computer within 10 minutes. The one im on now.
The point im trying to get across is. That computer that set on fire was going out the door anyways. On its last legs. It was to old to upgrade any further then i already did. It reached the end of its lifespan.
So it setting on fire was no big deal lol.
And you might want to refrain from saying words like psychotic. Theres nothing psychotic about modding games.
Ultra Gore 2 wasn't it. Didn't fix it, it's still happening.
If anyone knows what it might be, have a look at my mod list:

I would start with NItpickers patch as it deals with visuals.
That's a really weird thing to judge.
I think you may have some issues you need to work out in your spare time.
Hi, did you solved the problem?
