Randomly covered in Blood at certain times?
I have no idea if its because of a mod or just a random Glitch, but at certain times I often get covered in blood, mostly during cutscenes and it was quite humerous the first few times, but than it just got planely annoying... Anybody may know why?

were you injured before the cutscenes

And why are you dressed when laying with Keira.

You must have mods changing all that stuff, adding the blood too.

Hey there, I know this post is quite old, but did you find the source of the problem?
I seem to have a similar issue and am certain that it's related to a mod, but I don't want to toggle all my 54 mods one by one...

TimmySpieltStellaris do you have a mod that adds more blood and gore to the game? If so its your most likely canditdate for the source of the issue.

Interesting, the next time I play the witcher I should try that.

54 mods isnt anything. I filled up one of my old computer which caused it to be over worked. So much so it caught on fire. With how many mods i had on Skyim lol

Ok, so it was the Ultra Gore 2[www.nexusmods.com] mod for me. Disabling that fixed it.

Who said anything about i feel the game was lacking? I played with mods because I wanted to try them out. Simple as that.

Hell the only mod i ever downloaded for anygame that i downloaded because i felt the game was lacking it. Was a hood and cloak mod for the witcher 3. And i felt the game was lacking the hood and cloak because it was shown in the monster trailor geralt wearing a hood and cloak but yet you cant in the game. Theres the only mod i ever downloaded for the reason of i felt the game was lacking .

Literally all others were huh this mod seems interesting im going to try it out. So on and so forth. The only mods i ever delete are ones that cause conflicts and ones i end up not liking. If i liked it it remained.

Yes indeed it did feel like a different game. Whoever said thats a bad thing?

Whoever does say its a bad thing has what is known as a personal problem.

Whoever said i didnt play other games? I play all my games. The onesi end up liking that is.
If i own a game i play it. I dont just play it once or twice then never touch it again.

As for the computer setting on fire. It was a really old computer. My secondary computer at that. I put skyrim on it and dedicated it solely to skyrim for mods. And removed all the other games i had on it and moved them to the new computer. The one im using now.

When it caught on fire. I put it out. And was playing on my main computer within 10 minutes. The one im on now.

The point im trying to get across is. That computer that set on fire was going out the door anyways. On its last legs. It was to old to upgrade any further then i already did. It reached the end of its lifespan.

So it setting on fire was no big deal lol.

And you might want to refrain from saying words like psychotic. Theres nothing psychotic about modding games.

Right, if we wanna get back to the point of this thread:
Ultra Gore 2 wasn't it. Didn't fix it, it's still happening.

If anyone knows what it might be, have a look at my mod list:

Nothing there that deals with blood and gore that i can see. So my advice read the discriptions of your mods. Maybe one of them also deals with blood and gore but isnt the main purpose.

I would start with NItpickers patch as it deals with visuals.

I honestly don't understand using that many mods. If you feel the need to mod to death a game because of all its lacking, common sense would say to just go play something else instead because with all those mods, you're already playing a different game.

It's really kind of psychotic. And some of justified that it set your PC on fire.

That's a really weird thing to judge.
I think you may have some issues you need to work out in your spare time.
